Becky Robey, CFP®, CDFA®, BFA

Financial Planner & Advisor

My mission is to build a path to dreams for those who want a beautiful plan for their future or who want someone to walk with them through the difficulty of divorce, widowhood, and more.

I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional because I wanted the knowledge to truly help people make finances work for them. I earned a Behavioral Financial Analyst designation to better understand the emotions of money and support others in making smarter choices. To further assist during tough times, I added a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst certification, focusing on the collaborative process. I have a passion to walk with clients through life’s hardest moments with care, hope, and healing.

I love Florida, sunshine, the beach and a good book. I attended UCF, graduating with a degree in mathematics education. Showing students how to make sense of difficult concepts and seeing the light in their eyes when they “got it” was so rewarding. Later, I began working with those looking for financial lives of peace, hope, success.  I started at Stonebridge in 2014 where I leaned on my education skills to work with clients to make sense of their financial accounts, budgets, 401ks, estate plans and insurance issues, and solve the puzzle of making it all work to reach their goals for life, retirement, and legacy. I love seeing the same light in their eyes when they have a plan that works, when they discover their path to success, or they find the resource they need to make life simpler.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids in Washington DC and Gainesville, and I cherish playing with my grandchildren. I also dedicate some free time to advocating for foster families and serving as a board member for Commission 127, where we build support teams for families fostering children from hard places. Catherine Hyder, CFP®, CDFA®, BFA, CPWA®

Financial Planner & Advisor

Every day I do exactly what I have always wanted to do: help others! For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to make a difference in the lives of those around me: to lead, to teach, and to coach. I do all of that and more as an Advisor at Stonebridge Financial Planning Group. My path to becoming an advisor began in 2008 when I was working as an Internal Wholesaler at CNL Securities Corp. I enjoyed and thrived as a member of a successful sales team. Transitioning to the role as advisor has been challenging & rewarding.

Seeing the impact my efforts make on my clients gives me joy. Whether it is a plan for young professionals just starting out or figuring out tax saving retirement strategies for business owners. I love what I do and am constantly honing and learning new skills that allow me to walk alongside clients on their path to financial freedom.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, I take pride in distilling complex ideas, creating financial plans, and working as part of an ensemble to care for our clients. Since joining Stonebridge in the fall 2019, I have had the pleasure of being mentored by three tremendous women. They support and encourage my desire to constantly learn. I look forward to discovering new and better ways to serve our clients to my fullest potential while satisfying their needs.

After excelling at Winter Park High School, I enrolled in the University of Florida for undergraduate, and eventually graduate studies. I am one of the rare born and raised Floridians! My husband, Rex, and I are Gator football season ticket holders – go Gators! Sports have always been and always will be important to me. My time at Winter Park High School was wonderful, largely due to my participation in athletics, specifically water polo. I continued playing water polo at UF and have been a coach at Winter Park High School since 2006. I still play with a master’s program that I coach and spend as much time in the water as possible! I feel fortunate to be able to give back to the community where I was raised, and I look forward to continuing doing so for many more years.

Water polo is not the only thing that keeps me busy outside of the office, I also love spending time with my family, including our two rescue dogs, Tuck & Birdie. Rescuing dogs and giving them a better life has made my life better. I am passionate about helping animals in need and support local organizations that feel the same.

“When you learn, teach. When you get, give.” – Maya Angelou. I like to think I embody Angelou’s sentiment – my hope is I will make a positive impact on the lives of all those that cross my path whether by teaching them some small thing or giving them something they need!

Cole Thomas, CFP®

Financial Planner & Advisor

My interest in personal finance began at an early age when my dad taught me how to balance a checkbook and live on a budget. My love for finance and numbers drove me to pursue degrees in Actuarial Science and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers! After passing a few actuarial exams and gaining experience in the corporate world, I quickly realized that I wasn’t living out my greatest desires of building relationships and helping others. Instead of continuing to stare at Excel spreadsheets all day, I embarked on a 10-year journey in the non-profit industry that led me to the realization that I can connect with and serve others while walking alongside them on their financial path.

Fast forward to April 2021, when I had the privilege of joining the amazing Stonebridge team that you know and love. It has been an honor to work alongside a thriving team that empowers people from all walks of life to live out a financial plan that brings them joy and peace. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know you – our client – and am thankful for opportunities I’ve had to care for your financial needs. Behind the scenes, I love being a part of the investment research team, preparing financial plans, and have been designated as the official Stonebridge coffee brewmaster.

Though a native of Colorado, I moved to Orlando in 2018 and love enjoying all that the Sunshine State has to offer with my wife and four kids. Some of our favorite things are exploring new beaches and finding the best donut shop wherever we go. When I’m at home, you will often find me driving my kids around on the mower, talking to neighbors, roasting coffee, or smoking meat on my Camp Chef.

Ally Young, CFP®

Financial Planner & Advisor

At 18, with encouragement from my parents, I opened my first investment account, marking the beginning of my financial career. This early decision sparked my passion for personal finance and set the foundation for my future endeavors. In August 2021, I joined the Stonebridge team as a paraplanner intern, gaining invaluable experience in the industry. After earning my bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida in 2022, I advanced into a paraplanner role, ultimately becoming the Lead Paraplanner. In this capacity, I work closely with the paraplanning team to ensure exceptional support for our advisors and deliver high-quality service to our clients. My role allows me to directly contribute to the success of our clients’ financial plans, guiding them with attention to detail and care.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, my mission is to help individuals navigate their financial journeys—whether you’re just beginning, planning for retirement, or going through a major life transition. I provide personalized and comprehensive support at each step, offering tailored strategies to meet the unique needs of every client. If you have questions or need assistance processing requests, please reach out! Here are a few common things I can help with:

•Processing contributions to your accounts

•Processing distributions from your accounts

•Questions about your financial plan

•Questions about our client portal, Investor 360

•Learn how to access your accounts online or through the app

•Learn how to access your financial plan online

In my free time, I enjoy supporting my alma mater, UCF, by attending football, basketball, and even the occasional baseball game. I’ve been a dedicated UCF football fan since August 2007—Go Knights! As a self-proclaimed bookworm, I also founded the book club at UCF, so if you're ever in need of a great book recommendation, feel free to ask! In addition to reading, I love traveling, with some of my favorite destinations being Italy, Greece, Egypt, and Israel.

Bethany Park, FPQP®

Director of Operations

I was lucky enough to join the Stonebridge team in March 2021, first as the Office Manager and Paraplanner, and now as the Director of Operations. It’s been an incredible journey, blending my love for organization, problem-solving, and supporting both our team and clients. Before stepping into the world of finance, I was a high school social studies teacher. Originally from Wisconsin, I now call Florida home, but my heart still belongs to the Green Bay Packers—Go Pack Go!

My role in operations at Stonebridge allows me to ensure our firm runs efficiently, enabling our team to serve clients with excellence. I take pride in streamlining processes that enhance both internal workflows and the overall client experience. I’m passionate about creating an environment where our team thrives, and of course, as the unofficial office party planner, I believe there’s always a reason to celebrate—whether it’s a milestone, a team achievement, or just another day of making a difference.

Outside of work, I juggle life as an Air Force wife, devoted mom, and crafty crochet enthusiast. I thrive in the energy of downtown Orlando and love giving back through volunteer work. Whether I’m exploring local shops, discovering new restaurants, or enjoying Orlando’s vibrant arts scene, I’m always on the lookout for something exciting.

If you're ever in our office, I’d be happy to recommend a great local restaurant or a fun Orlando adventure—just ask! Building connections and creating memorable experiences, whether in the office or the community, is what I love most. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that values both professional excellence and personal connections.

Dawn Little, FPQP®

Paraplanner

My trail to Stonebridge took many turns. Studying Spanish in college led to the adventure of living in Latin America for a number of years. Nearly a decade of mentoring college students in personal growth in Venezuela, Mexico, and Minnesota was gratifying. The welcomed move to sunny Orlando launched a new focus – a satisfying 10 years of onboarding almost 30,000 college students to participate on short-term global ventures. I loved participating on a number of the trips as well – hearing peoples’ stories in diverse locations like Alaska, Arkansas, and Australia.

After becoming a mom, my role changed again – I moved into financial stewardship coaching, which created a sweet combination of operational emphasis as well as mentoring younger women toward wise monetary practices and a specific plan. Seeing how progress toward financial contentment, order, and generosity freed up and brought relief to these women, created a natural transition and enthusiasm for me to be a part of the vision and work of Stonebridge Financial Planning Group.  As a paraplanner at Stonebridge I have the privilege of getting to know some about our clients’ journeys, and helping them move onward toward the practical financial next steps and eventually, the breath-taking vistas of realized dreams.

In my free time you can find me enjoying time with my daughters, or on a walk, run, or bicycle ride around our rural neighborhood. If I had limitless time and resources, I’d crisscross the planet visiting family and friends, read stacks of fiction books with my girls, don my boots and hike many a mountain.

Morgan Sims

Paraplanner

A proud native of North Carolina, I graduated from NC State University with degrees in Statistics and Economics. After graduation, I began my career in banking, where I quickly realized my passion for building deeper, more meaningful relationships with clients. While I enjoyed the financial aspect of banking, I wanted to focus more on helping people achieve their financial goals in a personal and impactful way. When my husband and I relocated to Florida for his graduate school program, I was introduced to Stonebridge. The welcoming atmosphere and incredible clients made me feel right at home from day one, and I knew I had found the right place to grow in my career.

As a paraplanner at Stonebridge, I assist our advisors in preparing for client reviews, building comprehensive financial plans, and ensuring that all follow-up tasks are completed efficiently. I work closely with our team to ensure that every detail is covered and that our clients receive the highest level of service. In addition to my role as a paraplanner, I also contribute to the investment research and marketing teams to create engaging and exciting events for our clients, helping to foster deeper connections and enhance their experience with us.

My interest in personal finance began in college, where I developed a fascination with how different financial pieces come together to create a comprehensive and well-organized plan. As an avid puzzler, I love seeing how every aspect of someone’s financial life fits together seamlessly, much like solving a complex puzzle.

I’m always eager to expand my knowledge and expertise in the financial planning field, seeking out new opportunities for growth. I believe in the importance of building relationships based on trust and transparency, and I am dedicated to helping our clients achieve their financial goals. When I’m not at the office, you can find me on a walk, relaxing at the beach, enjoying a puzzle, or spending time with family and friends in North Carolina.

Christine Johnston, FPQP®

Business Manager

I joined Stonebridge in late 2022 to lead and guide the company’s business affairs. It's a true pleasure to work alongside a team dedicated to helping you achieve your financial goals! My role focuses on managing back-office functions, ensuring my colleagues can devote their attention to serving you, our clients. I handle:

  • Facilities
  • Payroll
  • Human Resources
  • Benefits
  • Accounting & Finance
  • Office IT

With more than 40 years of experience in accounting and business, I began my career as a CPA before moving into a regional accounting department at a national private firm. After my family relocated to Florida, I served as the President and Treasurer of a small contracting business before finding my home at Stonebridge. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that contributes to the company’s mission. To further enhance my understanding of the financial planning industry, I earned my FPQP® certification in early 2024. I take great satisfaction in supporting my colleagues so they can focus on what matters most: you.

Outside the office, I cherish spending time with my two adult sons, exploring their unique hobbies, including making artisanal sausages from scratch, handcrafting sourdough bread, constructing N-scale model trains, designing and coding interactive computer games and intelligent robots, and 3D printing craft accessories.

I have a deep passion for quilting, and with the help of my long-arm quilting machine (affectionately named Emille), I create cozy, functional quilts that are as beautiful as they are practical. I also enjoy attending sewing retreats and quilt shows across Florida. When I’m not sewing, I love returning to Western Massachusetts, where I grew up, to visit family and friends.
